GRADING NEWS
I am rather concerned that fighters seem to be taking the attitude that reaching Black Belt is simply a matter of turning up when they feel like. Unfortunately this is not the case and from here on in, fighters will need to attend one of the main classes each week to grade up to Purple / White and to take their Brown, Brown / White and their Dan grade they will have to attend two sessions - minimum. I know that fighters are training at other clubs as well as with us and I am fully behind this search for knowledge, however a Black Belt in Shuko Karate means just that, a Black Belt in a specific style, not a 'Oh I've done a bit of this and a bit of that Black Belt'.
I am sorry to come across a little full on, but too many of us have been turning up once a fortnight or even less.
If you wish to take the grading on Saturday 11th October and you have not been attending regularly you will need to turn up twice a week up to the grading if you want to take part and not wait till Christmas or New year.
So maintain a good spirit and train hard.
